Go Green is a unique national
environmental recognition and certification program for commercial
buildings in Canada, designed, developed and administered by the
Building Owners and Managers Association of Canada (BOMA) in
partnership with BOMA local associations across the country.
Go Green is designed to assist
building owners in resource conservation, recognize environmental
leadership in Canada, and have a significant impact on the
commercial real estate industry's approach to environmental issues.
Go Green is an industry “best
practices” model, with a requirement to meet the ten minimum best
practice criteria, in five key environmental areas:

Go Green Plus adds a more
in-depth benchmarking tool, for firms and buildings requiring this
type of program. Data is collected on-line to provide the
benchmarking component and allows a more in-depth study of the
issues.
